Overall Thoughts:
If I have to be honest, I was getting sick of bronies overly praising it? Look, I get that people can entitle their own opinions but they treated it like it’s a masterpiece and considered it to be one of The Best Movies of All Time which it’s not objectively true. I mean, it’s not an awful movie but it’s not even that great either. For what it is, it’s fine. It’s really not that special. It’s one of those movies are mostly made just for the fans like Pokémon and Dragonball movies. (This is coming from a guy who’s a big fan of Both Pokemon and Dragonball)
Besides, there are plenty of better movies based on cartoons out there that I’m sure even newcomers would enjoyed like Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Spongebob Squarepants The Movie, The Simpsons Movie, South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, and especially Teen Titans Go To The Movies (sorry but not sorry).
Plus let’s face it, 2017 is a weak year for animation films. Granted, there are few good animated films like Captain Underpants: First Epic Movie, Coco, and even one of my favorite animated and DC movies of all time, The LEGO Batman Movie, but most of them are range from ok to just plain suck like The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Boss Baby, The Star, and the most infamous of all, The Emoji Movie.

I forget to add that the Mane 6, except for Twilight, are being all useless and idiots in this movie because they couldn’t take the situation seriously since the Equestria is in trouble which I kinda don’t blame Twilight tricking her friends but that doesn’t excuse her for shouting Pinkie “Well, maybe, I would've been better off WITHOUT FRIENDS LIKE YOU!!!” Not only that part was completely forced, it was indeed pretty nasty even for Twilight after 7 seasons of developing of their friendship even when they made many of mistakes and ask for forgiveness. It suffered the same problem as Shrek Forever After did when Shrek yells at Fiona by saying his life would be better off without his friends and even his new family.

Still more tasteful than any of the hacks at IGN (It's not that they gave a negative opinion. It's the fact that they gave it a lower score than The Emoji Movie with a 3.5 on the score). It's not a perfect film by any stretch (I do acknowledge its problems) but saying it's "Worse than The Emoji Movie" is beyond untrue! At least this movie, it can at least appeal to fans and even little kids (to an extent) whereas The Emoji Movie, it's pretty much despised by 95% of the world and even kids and audiences hated it.
